We’re proud to unveil our new mural in partnership with Girls in the Game, an organization devoted to helping every girl find her voice, discover her strength, and build confidence through sports, health, and leadership programs. This year, Girls in the Game is celebrating 25 years of serving the needs of girls through the four pillars of its mission: sports, health, leadership, and life.
The mural conveys the confidence and strength gained from these programs with illustrations of young women using the force of their resilience to knock out the words and ideas that challenge them. Plus, the vibrant colors and dynamic images convey the playful nature Girls in the Game incorporates into each of its programs and events. And, that’s the first thing we hope viewers take away from this mural: Girls in the Game is fun!
We hope this positive, playful style inspires even more girls to learn about the programs available, and motivates others to learn more about what this great organization is doing to help girls throughout the Chicagoland area–and the country. During these uncertain times, Girls in the Game is adapting to continue creating a sense of teamwork and security, digitally. It’s using a variety of social channels and apps to connect with girls in various ways to continue to share its programs, as well as giving the girls a safe space to connect with their coaches and each other.
