Jessica Ashley Garmon is the chief operating officer and chief general counsel at the Will Group, founded by her father in her grandfather’s honor. The company is the pioneer company of several separate and distinct entities in the electrical, lighting, technology, construction, manufacturing, and energy related industries that all operate under the common philosophy, “Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way”. Mrs. Garmon is also the President of Industrial Electric Supply, Inc., an electrical distributor that was founded in 1977. Previously, Jessica worked as an attorney at a major law firm in Chicago and a major law firm in Dallas.
Jessica is passionate about economic development and is an active member of Chicago’s business community. She serves as a commissioner for the DuPage County Housing Authority, supports the Tuskegee NEXT Foundation, and, along with her family, founded the William and Mary Davis Foundation to help individuals find purpose and empowerment.
She is a legal writer and her scholarly works have been published nationally. Jessica was inducted into the Chicago Scholars Top 30 under 30 and the National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 under 40. Jessica is a graduate of the University of Illinois and received her Juris Doctor’s degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
